Detroits Big Three Shave Workforce in Half

With all the recent hype about Detroit's Big Three, heres some more news about the automakers, expect this time its for the better. GM, Ford, and Chrysler have cut their work force down by nearly 50%. Since 2002, GM has gone down from 177,000 to 90,000 workers. Thats a 49% decrease. Ford has gone down 44% from 116,000 in 2006 to 65,000. Chrysler has the smallest of the three which is now currently 32,000, down 33% from 2004.
